My style is observational, in both my writing and photography. My strength is in seeking to see something, not just look at it.

I'm available for:

Editorial assignments: Photo essays and photo-and-text features for publications interested in what is really there, not just what we want or expect to see.

Events and special occasions: One of the most beautiful things about this life is time spent with friends and family. As an observational photographer, my skill is to make people feel comfortable and blend in to the background to capture moments on film so you can fully feel them. It’s amazing how much we forget in a few weeks, let alone a few decades. If we’re busy taking photos with our phone we often miss fully experiencing the moment we’re trying to capture. I take the photos so you just enjoy the moment.

Brand and organisational work: I provide observational photography of products and people in action. I work with businesses and organisations that share my belief that we are connected to one another and the natural world and that means value comes in many forms beyond monetary.

Prints and licensing: Individual images available as prints, or for licensed use in print and digital publishing. Each print will come with a story behind it or a personal reflection on the essence of the image.

Talks and written contributions: We must learn to see both beauty and pain, and let neither blind us to the other. Talks and written content about learning how to see from the perspective of a writer and photographer.
